Stephen J. Mitchell, Esq.
Stephen Mitchell is a partner in Squire Sanders and practice areas include commercial real estate, banking and finance, the hospitality industry, international law, and administrative and regulatory law. Prior to his career as a lawyer in private practice, he was a Captain in the US Air Force serving as a satellite analyst responsible for the performance of various Department of Defense satellite programs. Mr. Mitchell has held numerous leadership positions in the community, including Chair and board member of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, member of the board of directors of the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA), chair of the board of the Central Florida Technology Transit Corridor, board of directors of the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Program and member of the Advisory Board to USF School of Architecture. Mr. Mitchell received his B.A. from State University of New York, M.S. from University of Southern California and his J.D. from University of Notre Dame. His Board of Trustees assignment include the Health workgroup and Research, Innovation, Engagement, and Job Creation workgroup. Mr. Mitchell is a resident of Tampa.
